The Strange Tales of Gillion has Arrived!

I know I said I would inform you in advance when I was going to publish The Strange Tales of Gillion, but I’ve delayed and procrastinated long enough! This collection is as good as it’s ever going to be, and if I leave it any longer, I’ll talk myself out of it!

For me, writing is all about momentum. I recently dropped a novel project because my motivation fizzled out. (That, and the fact I’d lost sight of why I was writing the book. I think, in a very, very, VERY bizarre way, I was actually writing a book to avoid writing another book, the dark fantasy one I had spent months planning.) If I’m nervous about something, I’ll put it off for as long as I can and, in turn, torture myself in the process.

Looking back on it, I should have published this collection in October this year on Halloween, which was when I originally was going to do it. But due to New Gillion Street being delayed until January 2024 because of my Dad’s passing, I was of a mind to leave it until January 2025, but honestly, too much is happening early next year, what with Nay’s 40th birthday celebrations potentially lasting until March (ha!). If I leave it until spring, it won't happen, and I’ve spent too long on the collection to let it slip away.

So, it’s now or never......

And I’ve opted for NOW!!!

I’m delighted to announce that The Strange Tales of Gillion is available to buy from Amazon as a paperback for the paltry sum of £7.99 and on Kindle for even less, at a mouth-wateringly cheap, £1.99. It’s also on Kindle Unlimited.

This collection would make the perfect Christmas present for your friends and family who love a bit of weird, cosmic horror in their stockings (who doesn’t!)

Before I let you go and rush to Amazon to buy this book (please, please, please, please…), I want to thank Ross Jeffrey, Nigel Walker, Robert Welbourn, Ian Craven, Nicola Keat, Anthony Self, Andrew Stevenson, Julie Farrah, David Young, and Stephanie Harper for their help during the beta reading stage. Without their insight, this collection might not have been.

Anyway, what are you waiting for!? Get out there and spend your hard-earned money on my book! There’s no time to waste!

Thanks.
